As simple as possible, your Curriculum Vitae is your marketing pitch for recruiters. On average, recruiters do not take more than 10 seconds to go through it and if a good first impression is not made on time, well, let’s say the job is as good as gone. Let’s not forget amateur or ambiguous formatting.
You need to not only put up a very good CV but you need to also create a Personal Brand that people (recruiters included) would want around.
Apart from these, BIG COMPANIES with thousands of CVs to go through would only put your CV in an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) which would lift out all relevant skills for that job and rank you on a scale in relatiom to other people. The less words you have, the less chances and too much words would be seen as forgery.
